Westies are active, independent and smart. Being full of energy and personality, they make an ideal companion for people of all ages. They love attention and lots of play but sometimes they can be a tad stubborn. Overall, Westies are good, loyal friends who are alert and at the ready to protect. They get along quite well with children, and can be friendly with other dogs.
